LSO Discovery is seeking a proactive, creative, thoughtful and highly organised individual to manage and support projects within the Community programme. With creative communities sitting at the heart of the Arts Council England’s strategy, the role will be key to supporting the LSO’s strategic work in the community. Working across a range of projects, the role will allow for the individual to both support the Community Senior Projects Manager as well as take a lead on managing a few of their own projects. The programme areas covered in this role include:

1.  Inclusion: through LSO Create, delivering creative sessions for neurodiverse, disabled and non-disabled adults, as well as access to LSO open rehearsals and planning/delivery of the Relaxed Lunchtime concert series at LSO St Luke’s.
2.   Health and Wellbeing: 
   • Hospitals programme delivered in partnership with NHS trusts, including projects with children, parents, older adults and NHS staff.
   • Older Adults: LSO Connect brings communities together through creative music-making, offering opportunities for sharing stories and musical exploration in a positive, creative and kind environment, with the intention of reducing loneliness and social isolation.
3. Families: workshop programmes and concerts for Families with Under 5s, both at LSO St Luke’s and with children’s centres and Islington-based early years service provider Bright Start. 

The role sits within the wider LSO Discovery team, and reports to the LSO Community Senior Projects Manager.

We are looking for someone with the following experience:

• A minimum of two to three years of relevant professional experience, preferably in an arts organisation
• Experience of managing or administering education or participatory projects 
• A strong commitment to music learning and participation
• A commitment to and interest in developing the music sector’s commitment to diversity and inclusion  
• An understanding of the requirements of working with vulnerable participants, with a friendly and flexible approach to communicating and supporting them

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a collaboration partnership project between TCC, Wrexham Citizens Advice, and Wrexham Foodbank. This project will work to reduce poverty and the impact of poverty on people living in Wrexham.

The project coordinator role will be supported by management from the three partnership organisations.

The project coordinator will be responsible for the management and coordination of the project including budgeting, planning and implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. They will coordinate the project partners and wider stakeholders to support an influencing campaign in Wrexham funded by Lloyds Bank Foundation England and Wales.

Key Tasks Include:

• Raising awareness of the problem of poverty and its structural causes amongst those living and working in the county
• Making local elected officials, policy makers, and local organisations aware of the drivers of poverty and encourage them to take steps to alleviate these drivers
• Running community workshops, training, and other engaging activities to partner with people, including those with lived experience of turning to poverty support organisations (such as a food bank)
• Think strategically about how best to bring about change locally, working with a range of stakeholders, and enabling local people to engage with local policy makers
• Collaborative working – bringing the partner organisations together in a strategic and creative way
• Coordinating the setting of agreed project milestones with partners and track progress
• Being the main point of contact for all partners
• Coordinating partnership meetings (confirming chair, finding meeting venue, sending invites, setting meeting  agendas, and distributing notes)
• Preparing presentations and reports with input from all partners
• Coordinating and implementing monitoring and evaluation of the project
• Being the main point of contact for funder
• Managing project budgets and finances alongside the project finance lead
• Ensuring people with lived experience and grassroots organisations can input meaningfully

Terms and Conditions: 

• Salary £11,856 (FTE £27,434)
• 16 hours per week
• 2 year fixed-term contract
• The project coordinator will be employed by TCC (Trefnu Cymunedol Cymru/ Together Creating Communities).
• Annual leave starting at 23 days holiday per annum pro-rata (plus statutory bank holidays pro-rata),  increasing 1 day per year of service up to a maximum of 30 days pro rata   
• A pension contribution of 10% of salary, subject to the employee contributing 5%

We are in the early stages of implementing our 10-year organisational strategy, ARUK: Towards a Cure. Sitting within the Chief Executive’s Office and reporting to the Project and Programme Manager, the Project Officer supports the scoping, planning, and delivery of strategic, cross-team projects and programmes. The post holder also supports the Project and Programme Manager in embedding project management best practice across the wider organisation.   

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Project Management

· Deliver key, strategic projects, as determined by the yearly Operational Planning process, working with project teams to develop flexible project plans that can adapt to change. 

· Manage project risks, decisions, and dependencies, liaise with third parties, and monitor project progress, ensuring stakeholders are updated at key checkpoints. 

· Lead project reviews to capture successes and learnings and ensure project outcomes are embedded into BAU. 

· Support the Project and Programme Manager and Head of Programme Management on other ongoing projects and programmes as and when required.

Promotion of project management best practice

· Maintain ownership of the Projects team intranet pages and project management resources, for use by colleagues across the organisation. 

· Provide tailored project management consultations to empower colleagues to deliver their own in-team projects. 

· Support the Project and Programme Manager on delivering the ARUK Project Management Masterclass.

 

What we are looking for:

· Experience managing projects, including allocating tasks and managing risks, decisions, and changes. 

· Sound knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).

· Demonstrable ability to work with and influence a variety of different internal and external stakeholders at all levels. 

· Working knowledge of project management tools, such as Excel, Smartsheet, MS Projects or similar. 

· Excellent communication skills, with an ability to build relationships, trust, and inspire confidence and respect at all levels.

Additional Information:

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

The Project Support Officer will support our Programmes Team with activity related to project delivery while members of the team are on maternity leave. The postholder will be responsible for completing a variety of project delivery tasks that support the smooth running of our online mentoring. These tasks include administrative support through our online mentoring platform, data entry and data monitoring, training our volunteers to be mentors and inducting young people onto our programmes.

About the Role

As the Senior Project Manager, you will be tasked with overseeing the full project lifecycle, from inception to completion. This includes coordinating project teams comprising consultants, developers, contractors, and other stakeholders. You will actively engage and foster strong partnerships with external partners such as the Greater London Authority (GLA), local authorities, and internal stakeholders.

Your role involves commissioning and briefing various consultants, ensuring compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements. The Hill End Charitable Trust are looking for an enthusiastic and organised person to be our new project coordinator – working with our Centre Director on a wide variety of tasks to create and deliver the projects we need to transform our site and buildings.

The Hill End Outdoor Education Centre has been providing unique outdoor learning experiences to children and adults since the 1920s. Our mission is to provide exciting and meaningful day and residential learning experiences that inspire children, and every visitor, to enjoy and value nature and the outdoors. Managed for decades by local authorities, Hill End is now an independent charitable trust seeking to create a more sustainable future. 

The Role

We are seeking a Project Coordinator on a part-time basis to help us create and deliver our vision to develop our site and buildings for the future. This includes modernising our existing facilities, improving access and becoming more environmentally sustainable.

These are ambitious plans and we are not expecting to achieve everything at once. We are looking to create a series of distinct, prioritised projects so we can move forward and need more people capacity in our small team to do so.

The Project Coordinator is a new role, and will undertake the essential administrative, communication, planning and reporting needed to help make our plans a reality. In the first instance, this will be to assist with key building renovations and improvements such as creation of disabled facilities.

The Project Coordinator will not necessarily have formal project management experience, but must be able to pull together a wide-ranging set of requirements, create and improve processes and practices that will allow us to better manage our site development in future.

This role might suit someone wishing to work either three full days or part of each working day. We are happy to discuss flexible working hours.

Principal Duties

These will include:

Gathering and analysing management data

• Using customer bookings and finance systems to extract key information.
• Defining and reporting on key metrics to evaluate the progress and success of projects.
• Collating and using data as required to help with other key strategic tasks such as cost-benefit analysis and business cases.
•  Providing data as required to support business planning, funding bids, marketing and communication.

Project communication

• Identifying and engaging with a wide range of key stakeholders, such as partners, customers, contractors, consultants and planners.
• Putting in place systems for better project communication, internally and externally.
• Assisting with scheduling of tasks and meetings.
• Reporting as necessary to the Centre Director and Trustees.

Project coordination

• Helping to define project aims, needs and budgets in line with our strategic priorities.
• Obtaining quotations, costings and development options for Hill End to review and approve.
• Assisting with legal and contractual considerations.
• Putting in place new and robust systems to record project progress and next steps.
• Defining and improving existing management systems.
• Helping to create a new project management model for future development.

Knowledge, experience, skills and personal attributes required

About the role:

We are delighted to have been awarded funding from the National Lottery Community Fund to deliver an exciting four year initiative to further support and develop communities in our local area.  Street Action will co-develop a programme of work with communities in the Scarborough area which helps individuals and groups to celebrate the good things about where they live whilst also providing the support needed to enable them to work better together to tackle the common challenges.  This is a grassroots up approach, driven by communities themselves and the Project Officer will be key to its success.

The post holder will be expected to be out and about in communities, making themselves known, developing new contats and learning about what makes the area tick.  They will utilise a variety of community locations to learn about and work with local people.  They will identify individuals with vision and passion and help them with the practical steps needed to gather others around them to create community solutions.

My Life My Choice (MLMC) is a multi-award-winning self-advocacy charity uniquely run by and for people with learning disabilities, founded in 1998.  The charity delivers a diverse range of innovative user led projects that enhance and empower the lives of adults with learning disabilities in Oxfordshire.  These established projects include a fee earning training and consultancy Professional Services team, gig buddy, travel buddy scheme, a nightclub, campaigns and self-advocacy groups.

We are now looking for a committed individual to join our Professional Services team. The role holder will help to coordinate projects to increase skills, improve health, and build confidence and independence for our members with a learning disability. The role will involve project coordination of our exciting new Pioneering Good Health project and our award-winning Digital Inclusion project.  Please note that this role does not require an IT technician/specialist; a basic, every day, standard, all round understanding of using a laptop/device will suffice.

Job Purpose

The National Ophthalmology Database (NOD) is a core Department workstream using clinical audit data to identify improvements and provide advice, to inform patient care, safety, and service delivery. This is a new role working with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate and support the programe manager to deliver activities of the NOD. The post requires strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. The role will be responsible for all aspects of project support and day-to-day management of the NOD website, including implementation of new developments with the supplier and analysis of usage to suggest areas for improvement.

Main Areas of Work and Responsibility

• Assist the NOD Manager in project planning to identify and track deviations from the project plan and budget, identifying and logging any risks and issues, and improving project procedures
• Support the NOD Manager with administration, project outputs, applying and explaining the information governance, outlier, and other project policies to stakeholders
• Management of the NOD website including liaising with the website supplier, working with the NOD Manager to develop a content schedule, editing content, assisting users with queries, authorising user access

The Liberal Jewish Synagogue’s Drop-In for Asylum Seeker Families was established in June 2014.

Opening one Sunday afternoon each month, we welcome families with children under the age of sixteen who are applying for asylum in the UK. We provide a warm and welcoming space for our guests and give money or vouchers, advice, clothing, food and toiletries. We invite hundreds of people into the synagogue, and the Project Co-ordinator is expected to manage the logistics of this.

Our volunteers are experienced and loyal, all having a particular interest in assisting asylum seekers and refugees. The project is interfaith, and we encourage applications from within the LJS community and beyond.

We are seeking to recruit a Project Co-ordinator. This is currently a part-time post 20-25 hours per week, with a degree of flexibility as to when these hours are worked. The hours include working one weekend per month: setting up the Drop-in on the Saturday (after the Shabbat morning service), and running the Drop-in on the Sunday. Attending Steering Group Meetings (currently on ‘Zoom’) is also a requirement on a weekday evening 4-6 times per annum.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

· Maintaining a safe and secure register of our guests and checking eligibility criteria

· Reviewing guests’ documentation

· Referring guests to other services where appropriate

· Answering emails from prospective guests and maintaining a ‘Waiting List’

· Inviting guests to the Drop-In by text/email as appropriate

· Preparing lists of guests attending; clearly showing their financial entitlements on the day

· Liaising with the three Volunteer Co-ordinators on a regular basis

· Interviewing new volunteers, and advertising the project beyond the scope of the synagogue

· Responding to enquiries (via telephone /email) relating to the Drop-In from various parties

· Checking that Security Guard/s are hired appropriately

· Ensuring cash is obtained in a timely fashion from the LJS office to distribute on the Sunday

· Monitoring volunteer expenses
